Hello from snowy Belgium

 

King Winter is ruling over Belgium these days! The frigid temperatures may chill the bones, but snow and ice lend a magical air to almost any landscape.

I took some pictures of our garden and wanted to share them with you today!

 

A few days ago it started to snow in the evening.

  1. Hello Greet! It has been very snowy here in my part of Canada! We are presently storm stayed at our chalet, which is not so bad;) However, my horses have not been out in 3 days and they are not happy. Perhaps tomorrow? I love the company Libeco. I was going to do a post on them as I recently discovered their wonderful linens! Your home looks serene and inviting:) What a brilliant vision for your gardens, well done! Happy Sunday:)

  2. Hello from snowy Holland :)! Ook hier is vanmiddag weer het nodige gevallen en het is flink koud buiten. De afgelopen avonden heb ik er een gewoonte van gemaakt net nadat ik de lampen in de woonkamer heb uitgedaan nog even voor het raam te staan en naar buiten te kijken...dat ziet er prachtig uit! Mooie winterse foto's Greet!

    Hello from snowy Paris!!!!!!!!! We never experienced this before......... Doesn't seem to phase anyone your house looks beautiful!!!!!!!!! We are esconced in the apartment and cooking beef stew, smells awesome!!!!!!!!! Went to M & O, will be back tomorrow..........Also went to the Who's Next Prete a porter....... Whoa......... Different!!!!!!!! We were lucky to be guests of Elisa Cavaletti.........Hope you stay home and keep warm and put on a pot of that Flamish stew of yours!!!!!!!!!! Maryanne and Robes.xo

  6. You look happy! Thanks for the links/ tips!! Your garden is peaceful under the fresh snow(: the wood panneling and fireplace is my favorite even if the link is for linens but the Colour is what I want... Would u know what wood is best to use and how to treat it?

    Ik reed vanmiddag even over en weer naar Brugge en dat kostte me 2,5 uur. Ik was blij dat ik al die sneeuw weer van achter glas mocht bewonderen.

  24. Hallo Greet, wat een mooie winterse plaatjes van jullie tuin! De sneeuw zorgt voor idyllisch beelden. De foto van jullie heg is toch bijzonder....in de ene helft is er een afdak ontstaan, terwijl in de andere helft lijkt het of er een deken overheen gedrapeerd is. Geniet samen met je hondje van de sneeuwpret.

  36. So pretty! Your property looks lovely and you pup is enjoying a romp in the snow. I have two springers and they go crazy in the snow.. must be different smells? We were in Belgium (Ghent) over the summer and had a wonderful time. I am familiar with Libeco and will look forward to checking out the other links!
